The rating system will be for users to change, yes -- right now it's actually for the "customizability of characters", meaning how much artistic license people can take with their own avatars. I get sick of games like WoW where you can pick a race and a face, and then you're done. So, this is more like a heads up to that. Having a rating system system about the game itself is another thing I want to do also, and yes, like the character customizability rating, it would be user-entered (will have to figure out some way to allow that without forcing people to sign up for accounts).

Looks Nice Ryan.

About the MMOBreakdown:
It holds a similarity to MMORPG.com's list and is definately smaller in size, but I really must say I like the page layout that comes up when you click on the title. Its easy to read, quick to find information and right to the point. I get a feeling like I am actually looking at the back of the box.

Im guessing that your rating system is for visitors to change. There are really plenty of reviewers out there right now and they are not always fair to the games. I tend to take ratings with a grain of salt and would be more inclined to click for the trial.

Nice job.

It sounds great. I'm looking forward to seeing what it shapes into. Good luck.

haha, no, but i did use the list itself as a reference for the studio/developers for some games

the intention with mine is to make an actual "breakdown" between the games, for comparison and such... but that's hard to do unless you've got a fairly thorough database to go off of, and i didn't figure you had an exposed API :D

http://www.virginworlds.com/mmo.php
